About Mark Hamill:
Known for his extensive career in front of the camera, Mark Hamill quickly became one of Hollywood’s most respected actors with his work in film, television, and on stage.
Portraying one of the most iconic characters in film, Hamill first appeared as ‘Luke Skywalker’ in George Lucas’ original Star Wars trilogy. He continued to reprise his role as Skywalker in the most recent Star Wars trilogy, appearing in both Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. He will also appear in Star Wars: Episode IX which will be released by Disney on December 20th.
Other film credits include, Corvette Summer, Samuel Fuller’s The Big Red One, Slipstream, Walking Across Egypt, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Sushi Girl, Kingsman: The Secret Service and playing Kyle Mooney’s father in Brigsby Bear along with Jane Adams, Greg Kinnear and Andy Samberg. Hamill also directed and starred in the cult mockumentary Comic Book: The Movie.
Moreover, Hamill is a prolific voice-over actor and has lent his voice as the ‘Joker’ in “Batman: The Animated Series,” the Arkham Aslyum video game series, and the animated films, The Killing Joke and Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. In addition, Hamill voiced many characters in Cartoon Networks beloved “Regular Show.”
Hamill also appeared on stage in The Elephant Man, Amadeus (First National Tour directed by Sir Peter Hall), the Drama Desk Nominated Harrigan n’ Hart, The Nerd, Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks and the Roundabout Theatre production of Room Service, directed by Alan Arkin.
Among his many accomplishments, Mark has received a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, received three ‘Best Actor’ Awards at the Saturn Awards, the ‘Best Performer’ BAFTA Games Award in 2012 for his work as the ‘Joker,’ British GQ’s ‘Icon of the Year’ and Disney’s Legend Award both in 2017, and the ‘Icon’ Award at the 2018 Empire Awards.
Mark currently resides in Los Angeles.
