Video Rating:
Video Duration:

On Ask Steve, the efforts of Martin Luther King Jr. and his assassination was discussed. His connection with the White House was cut off by President Lyndon Johnson because of his lack of support for the Vietnam War. He then went to Memphis. While there he was suppose to speak regarding the separation of the civil rights movement between the efforts of himself and Stokley Carmichael. The differences between the two were their methods, King being non-violent and Carmichael violent. Unfortunately he was assassinated on the balcony of the Lorraine Motel, and we will never know the affect he could have had.
